'Take My Time' is a celebration of life, told in the perspective of Joe Reed. In the film, Joe is accompanied by his father, Joseph Sr, and his wife, Lore. Joe Reed had his limbs amputated as a toddler due to meningitis, was abused as a child while in the Chicago foster system, and suffered from depression in High School. Despite his past, he has an infectious joy that is a blessing to his wife, children, and everybody he meets. Oh - And he breakdances.
